Born on August 3rd 1987 and raised in Jambi, Erlyn spent her childhood in Yogyakarta. After living in there for some years, she and her family went back to Jambi. She finished her school in the city until she got her bachelor degree from Jambi University. She began her career as a banker at Bank Mega Jambi. After being employed in there for two years, she moved to Bank Mandiri. Until today, she is still working in the bank as an officer.

Our love story is imperfect. We had laughs but in some other times we had fights. We cried, wiped our tears and kept each other strong. We've seen ourselves fail and succeed. Nevertheless, we'll be still standing side by side, as a promise that each of us will have one to another forever and ever.

Lindung met Erlyn for the very first time at Dine & Chat (D&C) café in Jambi three months after our acquaintance on 05-05-17. Two days before the meeting, she received a birthday surprise from him. He sent her the very first bouquet of flower to her office through a messenger. We've been involved on many hours of WhatsApp-ing before the meeting, days and nights, until today.

This is the very first of our picture that was taken a year ago. We had our very first dinner at Uncle K, Lippo Plaza after Erlyn picked Lindung up at Sultan Thaha Jambi. We spent most of our time at the airport while we were on dating. Until today, we are still in long distance relationship. It's never been easy for us. However, we arrive here to celebrate our love now and forever.

In Bataknese traditional custom, there are several stages of a marriage procedure. In this particular event, our parents met and talked about our marriage for the very first time after Lindung proposed to Erlyn and asked the parents several days before. We and our big family had a few following events after that since the marriage is a major occasion for both family.

One year after the first meeting, Lindung gave Erlyn the ring as an official symbol of our love and as her birthday gift. It has no beginning or an end. It is a symbol of infinity. Our love is an endless and an eternal love until death do us apart. We promise to trust each other and to pray together. Holding hands speaks for two of us that we don't have to face this world alone anymore.

The Holy Matrimony will be held in the Seventh Day Adventist Church Jambi, Jl. Otto Iskandardinata No.02 at 10.00-11.30 am.

The wedding reception and Bataknese traditional party will be held in Gedung Asi Ni Roha, Jl. Bruri Mansyur Kotabaru Jambi at 12.30-17.30 pm.

Don't Miss It!

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)
